I love just about everything when it comes to summer. This time of the year, the kids are off from school and parents try to take a break. In the last two months, I have seen an upswing in summer vacation planning. And, it is different this year. Families are planning all different types of vacations – from road trips to camping to flying to Colorado for a hiking trip to an all-inclusive beach vacation. Many did not travel last winter so now is the time!
Here are the top three spots booking for summer 2021:
- Hawaii: This is a popular spot right now. There is amazing weather and tons of outdoor activities to enjoy. Families also have more time to spend here because kids are on summer break. Hawaii is always a good choice, no matter what the time of year.
- Lower 48 states for a hiking trip: Colorado is full of hiking and a top travel destination right now as well. There are many other states that offer hiking and outdoor activities for your family, too!
- All-inclusive: Mexico and Punta Cana are a hit. Some families did not go on their yearly spring break getaway and are feeling comfortable to leave the country and are planning now. This has been so fun to see.
I love hearing and seeing how families and couples have missed their vacations and are not waiting any longer to take them. There is just something so special bout checking out/going off the grid and enjoying quality time together. Wherever the road may take you this summer, have a wonderful time!
